Life Essentials, LLC is an American Heart Association training site. I teach using only American Heart Association CPR and First Aid curriculum. Upon completion of one of my courses, you will receive an American Heart Association CPR and/or First Aid certificate.
What is the American Heart Association's BLS certification?
BLS stands for Basic Life Support and is the AHA course for Healthcare Providers. BLS for Providers certification is required by licensed providers that work in a healthcare facility or a prehospital facility. If you are unsure which certification you need, consult with your employer.
Where can I get a CPR class?
Most of the community classes I offer are held in Riverton, WY. However, I am willing to travel to the surrounding area (including but not limited to Lander, Thermopolis, Dubois, Shoshoni, Ft. Washakie, Arapahoe). If you are interested in hosting or attending a class, please contact me to make arrangements.
How often do you offer CPR/AED and first aid training?
Typically, I offer 2 community classes per month: 1 class on a weeknight and the other on a Saturday in order to suit the different schedules of my students. See my upcoming class schedule HERE

Do you offer CPR/AED and First Aid classes online?
The American Heart Association does offer blended learning CPR and First Aid classes. Online BLS for Providers is also available. If you'd prefer to complete your CPR certification online, you can do so by using these links:

I'd love to come to your business and teach a class to your employees! Contact Krista Edwards for more information about setting up a corporate or group class.
What if I just want to learn basic CPR?
If you want to learn the skills and information of CPR, but do not need certification (for work or otherwise), the Family & Friends course is for you! It is an inexpensive CPR class packed with the same valuable information. The cost of this class is $30/student and can be taken with any offered Heartsaver CPR class (see class schedule for dates).
Help! I can't find my CPR card!
Go to www.heart.org/mycards and type in your name and email address. If you have a card on record with AHA, you should be able to find it there. If you can't access your card, contact Krista for assistance.
